You’ve Found My Digital Altar

Welcome, feel free to poke around (respectfully)

What is a digital altar?

Every home has its spirit. Here in Sweden, it’s called a tomte - a quiet guardian who protects the house in exchange for respect and offerings, or causes mischief and withers away if neglected. I believe websites are digital homes, and they’re no different. Each carries a spirit of its own, one that needs tending if it’s going to protect, nourish, and bring abundance back.

The work I do on my site is how I feed that spirit: through fresh words, updates, and rituals. This altar is also where I leave offerings for the site spirit, the deities I walk with, and my ancestors, inviting their blessing on my work and on those I serve.

I update the altar regularly, as intuition calls. You’re welcome to return and see how it changes over time.

If you’re interested in summoning your own site spirit and creating a digital altar, let me know. If there’s enough interest, I’ll create a resource to guide you through it.

A rustic wooden table with a floral arrangement, a green candle, and various small objects, in front of two wooden shelves mounted on a wall with ornate wallpaper. The shelves hold a picture, a globe, figurines, decorative stones, and hanging ornaments, with a small cluster of dried branches on the right side.
